About the project
The brief
The Emerald Toad in Roswell, Georgia lets the art do the talking. They didn't want a busy site full of widgets. They wanted their work front and center and a straightforward way for clients to book.
Booking their way
Off-the-shelf booking tools tend to force a shop into someone else's process. Our website development team customized the appointment setup in Joomla so the shop can take bookings the way they prefer, which supports the high level of service they're known for. The hardest decision left for clients is choosing the tattoo.
Design that steps back
For a visual business, the site's design should act like a gallery wall: clean, neutral and built to frame the work. Images lead, text stays short, and nothing competes with the art. For tips on what makes images work online, see How to Add Images in Joomla.
Good fit for
Studios, salons and other appointment-based businesses where the portfolio sells the service.
