About the project
Where it started
Walshtown Cabin had a static HTML site, so every change meant editing code, and it showed: the site was out of date and hard to find in search. For a vacation rental, that's a real cost. Guests who can't find you, or can't tell whether you're available, book somewhere else.
Why integrate instead of rebuild
Bookerville already does reservations well, so there was no reason to reinvent it. Our website development work focused on connecting the booking service cleanly, so guests get one smooth experience and the owners get bookings without juggling systems.
Getting found again
Moving to a proper CMS gave the site real page titles, clean structure and content that's easy to keep fresh, which are the basics search engines reward. We also handled marketing support to help the retreat get found online. If you're about to switch platforms, our website launch checklist covers what to check before and after go-live.
Good fit for
Cabins, B&Bs, retreats and other small hospitality businesses that need to look inviting and take bookings without a big platform.

What we built
- A move from static HTML to Joomla: the owners can now update photos, rates text and property details themselves.
- Bookerville reservation integration: guests check availability and book through the third-party Bookerville service, right from the site.
- A responsive redesign: the site looks right on a phone, which is where a lot of trip planning happens.
