About the project
A long relationship
We first helped Waste Reduction Partners upgrade and redesign their site in 2008. When it was time for another upgrade, they took a different route.
What changed this time
Their site administrator, Dee Hanack, led the redesign herself. We handled the technical upgrade and gave her the training and support to make design changes with confidence. Way to go, Dee!
Why this approach works
Plenty of organizations want to own their site day to day without hiring a developer for every change. That depends on a solid build and a person who knows the tools. Joomla's templates, modules and menus make it possible for a trained admin to reshape a site safely. Doing your own design doesn't mean doing your own server work. Waste Reduction Partners is on our boutique hosting, with proactive security, nightly backups kept for a week, 24/7 outage monitoring and core CMS updates. When something goes beyond what they want to tackle, we pick it up on demand.
